Why Invest in Belize Property?
Belize is quintessentially Caribbean. The sand is soft, the palm trees sway on the gentle breeze and the aquamarine water is so clear that you can see the coral below. Belize, known in travel circles as "Mother Nature's Best Kept Secret", is truly a naturalist's paradise. Real estate dollars tend to follow leisure and tourism dollars and with tourism growth rates surpassing other counties in the region, the market for Belize property is set to boom.

Belize real estate has flown under the radar for some time being a small country, the word is now getting out but its not too late to make your claim. The opportunities are proven as the early risks have been taken. Furthermore, with baby boomers turning 50 at a rate of three to four million a year, the demographics are set for growth.
The national language is English with laws based on British Common Law. Belize has a prime ministerand is a member of the British Commonwealth with a Westministerstyle of government.

The currency exchange is a set $2 Belizean Dolars equals $1 U.S. Dollar. The exchange rate is easy to figure out and most places take American Dollars.

Life is simple and slower paced than back in the states. You can keep your clothing modest and sensible (shorts, sandals and a t-shirt) as befitting a country where wildlife and rainforests are held in regard than the layest styles. Belize is on central standard time year-round (daylight savings time is not observed).

The country is located just two hours from the U.S. border. You can be on a plane out of Minneapolis at 8:30 a.m. in the morning and fly into Belize City by 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon. Belize is close to the U.S. Only two hours with direct flights from Houston, Dallas, New York and Los Angeles to Belize City.

Belize has the second largest barrier reef in the world and is universally regarded as one of the top 10 diving destinations in the world. This makes Belize attractive for tourists and rental properties, Belize has some of the most beautiful islands in the world. Real estate prices are far lower than other Caribbean or South Pacific areas.

Property values have been doubling every three years and show no trend of slowing down. It has been estimated that within 5 years you won't be able to touch a piece of property within 15 miles of the coast if you're looking to purchase something. Offers freehold title in your own name unlike other countries who sell land to non-natives or other countries with restrictions.

Above average telecommunications system. When the British gave independence, they gave the country an up to date electronic telephone service.
